Marsha Mosley LaPete is the founding Principal of LaPete Yeates, LLC.  She has over 20 years of experience providing engineering based solutions for her clients.  Working in a wide variety of industries including restaurants, retail, health care and real estate, she has provided solutions on new construction projects, renovation projects, and purchased facilities in the form of cost segregation and capitalization/ repair studies.  Prior to opening her firm, Marsha was the Southeast Area Leader in Ernst & Young LLP’s Cost Segregation group in National Tax for nine years and was part of KPMG’s National Tax practice for eight years. 

 

Her other projects have included fixed asset system remediation, the use of statistical sampling, the calculation of IRC §481(a) adjustments, and preparing requests for Changes in Accounting Methods with the Internal Revenue Service as well as identifying cash grant eligible property under ARRA Section 1603 (Payments for Specified Renewable Energy Property in Lieu of Tax Credits).

 

Marsha received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master in Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University.
